What we do?
The structures sub-team is responsible for developing the airframe and payload dropping mechanism for the aircraft
What we are working on
Our primary goal is to design an airframe that can support our payload system and meet the design requirements for the SUAS competition.
Airframe Design
Currently have a drone made from carbon fiber
Developing a VTOL airframe for our upcoming competitions
We use Autodesk Fusion to create our CAD model of the airframe
Payload Dropping Mechanism
We design a payload system to drop any object needed for the SUAS competition
We use 3D printing to produce the final product
